Thanatos is an interactive kinetic installation, a fusion of art, technology, and biomechanics.

It’s a mechanical creature composed of 3D-modeled vertebrae, some realistic, others modified for the project, allowing an impressive range of motion.

Every mechanical component was 3D printed and assembled by hand, with embedded lights, sensors, and motor that react to human presence. As people move near the installation, the structure comes to life, rotating, glowing, and interacting in real-time.
